Haruka Nanase liebt das Wasser! Gemeinsam mit seinen Freunden Makoto, Nagisa und Rei gründet er den Iwatobi Schwimmklub, in dem er ganz frei seinen eigenen Schwimmstil entfalten kann. Die vier verbringen eine unvergessliche und aufregende Zeit miteinander, die sie als Team richtig zusammenschweißt. Mit ihrem alten Freund Rin und seiner Mannschaft vom Samezuka Schwimmklub liefern sie sich in unzähligen Wettbewerben immer wieder spannende Duelle.
